The last of the original farm buildings to be converted and restored at Poltarrow. Keeping bits of the old but a lot of new, this cottage is now a beautiful holiday retreat.

Leading from the south-facing terrace, the door opens into a spacious living area, with open beams and a woodburning stove, to give an instant feel of comfort.

The kitchen is fitted with all the labour saving devises, should you wish to dine at home.

At each end of the living area, you will find the bedrooms. The neutral colours extend to the double room with 5' bed and a large en-suite sandstone wetroom. The twin bedded room with its pretty fabric has a door leading onto the terrace. The en-suite bathroom comes complete, with a roll top bath to relax in. Just the tonic after a hard days play.

The terrace, a real suntrap, has views across the field to the lake, where you can watch the ducks at play. There is garden furniture and a barbecue for alfresco dining.

The cottage has been adapted for the less able visitor.
